our origin story
Ethiopia not only brought us to Third Flame Coffee, it is also where we adopted our daughter in 2010. Third Flame Coffee is a way for us to honor Ethiopia and the daughter it gave us. To ensure we continue to honor our roots and give back to the country and community that gave so much to us, we created the W.O.W. Fund to commit a portion of our profits to support Widows, Orphans, and clean Water projects across our daughter’s birthplace region of Ethiopia. In many ways, this journey began with a gas station mug. Today, it continues with a roaster named Rosie, a vision bigger than coffee itself, and a hope that every cup you share from Third Flame Coffee becomes a story worth savoring.
